Having Trouble Using DomainManager?


DomainManager is a web-based, online account management system for current DecaTech hosting clients. You can use DomainManager to control your account(s) anytime and anywhere you have access to the web.

We've designed DomainManager to be simple and easy to use. Here are a few tips if you run into any trouble signing in or using it.

  1. Make sure you have activated your account before signing in for the first time. When your account is setup for hosting, you receive an important email from DecaTech with the subject "DecaTech DomainManager registration: <your domain>". For your security, within this email, there is a link that can be used to directly activate your account. Once activated you can sign in normally using your User Name and Password, which are also contained in that important email.

  2. Use a modern browser. It is always good advice to upgrade to a recent browser, whether you are using Internet Explorer, Netscape, Opera, AOL or something else. Recent versions of each of these browsers are:
    1. Internet Explorer - 5.5 or later
    2. Netscape - 7.0 or later
    3. Opera - 7.0 or later
    4. AOL - 8.0 or later

  3. Make sure you allow cookies in your browser. Most browsers default to allowing "cookies" as they are important to allowing e-commerce and password protected websites to work properly. If you are an advanced user, you can add support allow cookies to be sent from the domain "secure.decatech.com" thru your browser. Otherwise, consult your browser documentation to make sure that you have cookie support enabled.

  4. For your security, always log out from DomainManager when done, when you are using a computer in a public place. DomainManager will automatically log you out after a period of 4 hours.
